Why would you spend $2200+ on Van's lights for the RV-14 when you can have a complete Flyleds solution (The Essentials kit, two Combo or Quad Spot lights plus a tail light) for under $800?
This kit provides you with a set of Molex connectors to mate with Van's wiring harnesses WH-00011 for the wings and WH-00057 for the tail kit, plus 12 feet of wire to make two simple harnesses for the wingtips, as well as a length of shielded wire to extend the fuselage wiring harness for the tail light forward to the panel.
With Van's different drawings and diagrams spread over several sheets and locations, it took us a few months to write the accompanying Integration Guide but we hope we came up with the concise version to make the task clear and easy for you, at least as far as getting our lights going is concerned!
For a complete RV-14 lighting solution we recommend The Essentials Flyleds kit for your wingtip position and strobe lights, a tail light*, and two of either our Combo or Quad lights depending on where the third wheel sits.
If you want the best possible lighting for your plane you can upgrade to two of our Seven Stars or Tail Dragger Max lights, which really do turn night into day! Two of these Flyleds lights works out to more than $850 cheaper than Van's equivalent premium offerings.
And The Works kit still fits your wingtips as well...
We have lots of customers who have gone with The Works kit as well as the Seven Stars lights for that ultimate 747 experience!

*If you have already bought your tail light from Van's it can still be used with the Flyleds kit. See the Integration Guide for more information.
