Wiring harness & plug

Product Details

We now have a wiring loom/harness to suit the Flyleds wingtip light kits. The kit contents include:

Crimp pin connector and back shell.
20ft of (M27500/22SB2T23 Tefzel) two wire shielded cable for the tail light
2x 25ft of (M27500/22SB3T23 Tefzel) three wire shielded cable for each wing
6 feet each of (M22759/32 Tefzel) Black/Yellow/Orange/Blue 20 AWG for power and ground into the control board.

The wire lengths listed above are long enough (and then some) for an RV-10.
If you are ordering The Works kit we will include 50ft lengths of 18 and 20 AWG wire for the landing and taxi lights as well.

Option 1: DIY Parts: $125

We can supply the harness kit as the wire and DB15 crimp plug listed above.
If you are planning on wiring your plane and don't already have one you will need to purchase a pin crimping tool (buy one of these too) and DIY!
Use the Flyleds harness kit as your first practice! We promise it's easy to do. You'll be using the crimp tool lots more when you get to your panel.

Option 2: Crimped/terminated by us: $175

We can terminate the DB15 crimp pin connector at the controller board end for you.
The far end of each wire run will be left un-terminated so that you can run the wires through your plane and then trim them to length.

Note: Some customers order the Flyleds ACM controller board and our harness as well. We will supply a 25 pin connector instead of the 15 pin connector normally used, but do note that we will supply the nav and strobe related cables only. You will need to supply your own wire for the other circuits found on the Aircraft Rear harness, such as for the ELT and digital inputs.

(October 2023): We were unable to source 3 wire shielded cable at a reasonable quantity or cost, so we supplied 4 wire shielded cable instead. Just fold back and ignore the white/green stripe wire when following the Flyleds installation guides.
